Ingot Tongs

Ingots are manufactured in a variety of shapes, sizes and materials. Ingot Tongs from Bradley Lifting are a simple and reliable way to grip both rectangular as well as circular shaped ingots. An ingot may be gripped from the sides, ends or around the diameter. Depending on the ingot material (hardness / shear strength) and surface condition, the Tong legs may be fitted with hardened steel points, serrated teeth, or polymer liners for gripping the ingot.

One of the most common operations when lifting an ingot is “down-ending”: the lift starts with the ingot vertical, but then rotated to a horizontal position. Bradley Lifting has hundreds of down-ending grabs in operation around the world. Each Ingot Tong can be customized to meet your specific application requirements.
